Alice Wisler will read from and discuss her new novel, Still Life in Shadows which follows Gideon Miller an expatriate of Amish country in Pennsylvania who moves to a Smoky Mountains town, where he helps other Amish teens adjust to modern life and meets many eclectic characters including Kiki, an autistic teen, and her sister Mari.. Once Gideon's brother dies, he must return to face the community of his youth and his own web of bitterness.
