Moira Crone will read from and sign copies of her new novel, The Not Yet. The Not Yet follows the story of  20-year-old Malcolm de Lazarus in dystopian 22nd century New Orleans. THe wealthy class, the Heirs, control society’s resources from their lavish walled city-states while the poor struggle to survive. Malcolm is a “Not Yet,” one counting on joining the elite. But when his fortune mysteriously disappears, he must sail to the chaotic New Orleans Islands for answers. On the way, he encounters the darkest side of Heirs’ privilege, which threatens everything he knows and loves. Crone received Robert Penn Warren Award in 2009.A North Carolina native; she now lives in New Orleans with her family.
